Adding Data Points

To add a Data Point to the application, drag and drop the relevant component (AnalogDataPoint, BinaryDataPoint, or MultistateDataPoint) from the Library.Core to the application or from the device tree with right-click.

Each DataPoint has actions listed below available from the Actions menu. Actions are related to the type of Datapoint and its Extensions.

Add Extension: allows to add an extension to the Data Point;
Remove Extension: allows to remove an extension from the Data Point - only available if the Data Point has an extension;
Set: allows entering a value to set the In16 slot;
SetId: sets the BACnet object Id of the Data Point (exposed in the BACnet extension of the Data Point);
SetAddress: sets the Modbus address of the Data Point (exposed in the Modbus extension of the Data Point).
