Set up JACE checklist

  1. JACE off the network, global internet, and connected directly to the computer using a crossover cable.

  2. JACE licensed for SSL.

    See Check for SSL license.

  3. Platform (Niagarad) enabled.

    See Enable SSL for the Supervisor and JACE platforms.

  4. NiagaraNetwork enabled.

    See Enable NiagaraNetwork.

  5. Web Service enabled.

    See Enable the Web Service connection.

  6. Fox Service enabled and port assigned (defaults to 4911).

    See Confirm the Fox Service connection.

  7. Supervisor set up as JACE client.

    See Set up client/server relationships.

  8. SSL enabled for Supervisor client connection, and Supervisor client connection port set correctly.

    See Enable clients and configure them for the correct port.

  9. Certificates created, signed and imported.

    See Create certificates.

  10. Certificate selected for each service: Foxs, Https and Niagarad.

    See Import the signed server certificate and configure each station.

SSL is now set up for the JACE.
