As a general rule, third-party certificates are not changed. Some CAs will not allow any changes once the certificate is signed. If a change needs to be made, you should import the new certificate and configure it for use before you delete the old certificate.
Follow these procedures:
Delete a certificate
Do not delete a certificate until its replacement is in place and configured. If you delete a certificate that is configured
for use by the platform, Fox or Web Services could fail to restart. If you have the services configured for Https only, platformssl
only, or Foxs only, a missing certificate could prohibit connectivity using SSL connections.Workbench gives no warning if
you delete a certificate that is currently being used by Workbench or the platform/station.
