Add a Milestone video device to a station

This section explains how to add a Milestone DVR or camera to a station through Device Manager. You can also drag and drop the device component from the palette to the driver node in the Nav tree Drivers folder. The illustrations show adding a device for a new Milestone DVR. For more information on the driver installation process, see Getting started with a Video Driver

Add (or edit) a device procedure

Double-click the Milestone driver row in the Driver Manager view.

The Milestone Device Manager view appears.

- creates a sub-folder, which you can use to organize multiple cameras.
- opens the New dialog box.
- opens the Edit dialog box.
To set up a new DVR or camera, click the new button.

The add New driver dialog box appears.

If not already selected, select the Milestone DVR and click OK.

The property sheet appears.
