In order to appear in the source object pane, the “source object” must be a Px file or a component with a Px view assigned to it. The source objects populate the pane view based on the position of the Show Components and Show Files buttons, as described in About Nav File Editor buttons.

To use the source objects pane for creating the nav file structure, you drag components or files from the source objects pane down to desired tree location in the result tree pane. Refer to About Nav File Editor result tree for details about the result tree pane.
