Currently, any JACE-NXT ships with the SP3 (service pack 3) version of Windows XP Embedded (XPE). As shipped, Windows XPE on the controller may need to be updated with the latest security patches. In addition, a feature of Windows XPE is the Windows Firewall, which is factory-configured to permit network access to only selected TCP/IP ports used in NiagaraAX.
