Setting system passphrase
This procedure creates a provisioning job to set the system passphrase on each remote device in the job.
Prerequisites: The BatchJobService is available under Services. The ProvisioningNwExt component is available under the NiagaraNetwork. The Niagara Network Job Builder (one-time) or Niagara Network Prototype View (reoccurring job) is open.
Perform the following steps:
- In the top pane, Provisioning steps to run, click add (
).The New Job Step window opens. - Click the Set System Passphrase step and click OK.The system prompts for the current and new system passphrase for the remote device.
- Enter the current and new system passphrase for the remote device, select the check box if this system is intended to be FIPS compliant, and click OK.
- In the bottom pane, Stations to include in the job, click add ().The Add Device window opens.
- Select the stations and click OK.
- To initiate the provisioning job, review your choices and click Run Now.The view changes to the Niagara Network Job View, where steps and results appear as they are executed.
