Silencing an alarm

Once an audible alarm has sounded, you may choose to silence it as you work to correct the problem.

To view the alarm console, click the Monitoring tab.
This opens the Alarm Console view.
Select the alarm(s) to silence (to select multiple alarms, use the Shift or Ctrl keys).
Click the Silence button ().
The system silences the audio alert for the current session.

NOTE: A silenced alarm sounds again when the screen is refreshed. This includes any time you use the Filterbutton () to reduce the number of alarms in the view.
