Associating definitions with tags
The Definitions container under the AnalyticService contains information types that identify the characteristics of the data to be analyzed. A set of pre-defined definitions
are in the analytics-lib palette. You can create your own definitions. This topic explains how to modify a definition, how to copy another, and customize
it to create a new definition. This work is done in
Prerequisites:
- To access the definitions, double-click .The Analytic Data Manager opens.
- Do one of the following:
- To create a new definition, click New at the bottom of the window.
- To edit an existing definition, double-click it in the Nav tree or Analytic Data Manager, or select it in the manager and click Edit.
The definition Property Sheet or Edit window opens.
The example shows definition properties as they appear in the Property Sheet.
