It's also used by Software Developers to help gain an understanding of how to optimize their remote programming code and gain a greater understanding of the Niagara framework.
Is Fox a public protocol?
No. Fox is a high performance protocol that is private to Tridium. Anyone interested in interacting with the Niagara framework through a remote connection should use 'oBIX' instead.
Will this tool impact system performance?
Yes. Even though many measures have been taken to reduce the impact of this Analyzer Component, it will degrade system performance. This Analyzer should be used temporarily to help assess any Fox related issues. Once any issues have been resolved, any Analyzers should be removed from the system.
