baselineValue window

All charts that support baselineValue feature have the same baselineValue binding properties. Browser and Workbench support these properties.

The properties are available in the settings window when you click the setting icon (Image) in the browser or add the chart to the Px view in the workbench.

Align Day of Week

Aligning days of the week is important when comparing baseline data. For example, it may not be useful to compare energy usage on a week day, while the building is occupied and full of employees or customers, with a weekend day when the building is unoccupied.

Start Time End Time Baseline Time Range Align DoW Comments
8 Nov 2022 12:00 AM 9 Nov 2022 12:00 AM One Month Prior true Results in a calculated base line time range of 11 Oct 2022 12:00 AM - 12 Oct 2022 12:00 AM. In this case, the baseline time range is four weeks prior and aligns both time ranges as a Tuesday.
8 Nov 2022 12:00 AM 9 Nov 2022 12:00 AM One Month Prior false Results in a calculated baseline time range from 8 Oct 2022 12:00 AM - 9 Oct 2022 12:00 AM. In this case, the baseline time range matches the same days of the month in the previous month, however, the baseline day is a Saturday compared to a time range day of Tuesday.
