The procedure for adding an alarm extension to a point's property sheet is basically the same for all components.
Prerequisites: The alarm palette is open.
- To display the point’s property sheet view, select the component in the Nav tree and do one of the following:
- Right-click the component and click the property sheet view.
- Select the property sheet view from the view selector.
- Expand the extensions folder in the palette and find the extension that matches your data type and collection method.
- Drag or copy and paste the extension onto the bottom of the properties sheet.
- To view extension properties, expand or double-click the extension.
- Fill in the property sheet.
- Save your sheet.
