Mapping cameras connected to a Supervisor PC

To associate alarms in a host controller with one or more video cameras installed on the Supervisor PC, you map the camera(s) in the host controller.

Prerequisites: You are connected to the host controller’s station.

NOTE: Not all video drivers support remote video streaming and mapping. Refer to your camera documentation.

Perform the following steps:

Open the Station Manager by clicking Controller Setup > Remote Devices > Station Manager.
The Station Manager-Database view opens.
Select the station name and click the Summary button ().
The station’s summary page opens.
Click the Device Exts tab.
A summary list of the device extensions associated with the station opens.
Click the Cameras hyperlink.
The Camera Manager view opens.
To discover cameras, click the Discover button ().
The system displays the found cameras in the Discovered pane.
Select and add the cameras connected to the Supervisor station.
