With Niagara 4 installed on your PC, you run the migration tool on the AX-3.8 station backup .dist file to migrate a station, or run it on a saved AX-3.8 BOG file (.bog) if necessary. NiagaraAX does not have to be installed on this PC—although in many cases, it may be.
NOTE: For any station that uses modules made using the ProgramModule feature, you will need to migrate those modules to N4 (refactoring them) before the station can be successfully migrated. See Migrating modules made with the ProgramModule component.
