Installing the Mbus components

The core Mbus components are: MbusSerialNetwork and MbusTcpIpNetwork. This procedure adds these components under the station’s Drivers container.

Prerequisites: Your computer is connected to the network and running Workbench.

Perform the following steps:

If needed, open the Palette side bar by selecting Window > Side Bars > Palette from the Menu bar.
Locate and open the Mbus palette.
Drag the MbusSerialNetwork and MbusTcpIpNetwork components from the palette to the Station > Config > Drivers container.
