Prerequisites: You are working in
Workbench. You have either a distribution file or a copy of the Supervisor station and controller station(s).
- Using the disable Auto-Start and Restart on Failure, and stop the current Supervisor station.
- To install
Workbench, extract the new software build and run the installer program.
- Follow the installation wizard as it sets up the System Home, User Home folders and shortcuts.
- Copy an updated license file to the
C:\niagara\niagara[version numbers]\security\licenses folder of the new build.
- Start
Workbench and open a platform connection to the Supervisor.
At this point, you can use the upgraded installation to upgrade the software on a controller by commissioning the controller.
But, before you commission, you should restore the Supervisor station.
