Installing EntsecAsureID
EntsecAsureID connects the Asure ID software with the framework station. If you start EntsecAsureID before running Asure ID,
you must close and re-install EntsecAsureID after you run Asure ID for the first time.
Prerequisites: You have installed the Asure ID software on the Photo ID workstation.
- Log in to the Photo ID computer with Windows Administrator privileges.
- Locate the setup file.This file is located in the installation software build at:
c:/Niagara/MySoftware/HID_Asure_ID/asure_id_setup_v7.6.3.22.exe. The folder name may be different depending on where you purchased the software. - If the station is on a separate computer from the Supervisor station, copy the setup file to the Photo ID workstation.
- To run the setup file in the Photo ID computer, double-click EntsecAsureIDSetup.exe.
- Follow the installation wizard.The applet installs in the specified folder and displays the EntsecAsurID icon (
) in the system tray.
NOTE: For Windows® Vista or Windows® 7 systems: you must disable User Account Control Settings (UAC) for the system tray applet to launch (appear in the tray) when the operating system starts.
