Creating a controller machine-to-machine user

A machine-to-machine (M2M) user sets up network communication without requiring human intervention.

Prerequisites: You are working in the web UI connected to a controller station.

Navigate to Controller Setup > User Management > Users, and click Add ().
The User tab opens.
Configure at least the User Name, Password and confirm that Enabled is be set to true, Password Expiration is set to Never Expires, and Authentication Scheme Name is set to DigestScheme.
Click the Roles tab and select the Admin role for this user and click Save.
