Setting up the authentication scheme for Asure ID and Easy Lobby

Both the Asure ID software (which provides photo IDs for personnel badges) and Easy Lobby software (which manages visitors), require HTTPBasicScheme authentication. If this authentication scheme is not available in the web UI, this procedure documents how to use Workbench to add this scheme to your Supervisor station.
Prerequisites: Using Workbench you are connected to the Supervisor station.
  1. To confirm the authentication schemes, navigate to Config > Services > AuthenticationService > Authentication Schemes.
  2. If HTTPBASICScheme is not a listed option, open the baja palette and expand AuthenticationSchemes > WebServicesSchemes.
  3. Drag HTTPBasicScheme to Config > Services > AuthenticationService > Authentication Schemes in the Nav tree.
  4. Using the web UI, create a Photo ID or Easy Lobby user.
    For Photo ID, refer to Setting up a Photo ID role and user. For Easy Lobby, refer to Setting up an Easy Lobby user.
