Tcp/Ip Configuration (platDaemon-TcpIpConfiguration)

TCP/IP Configuration is the platform view you use to configure a remote host’s TCP/IP settings. Typically, you make initial settings when you first commission the controller, where this view is one step in the platform’s Commissioning Wizard. For Windows platforms, this view is read-only in Niagara 4 For more details, see TCP/IP Configuration.

To access this view of the controller expand Platform and double-click TCP/IP Configuration.

Host nametextIdentifies the name (Id) of the host platform. For a Supervisor PC this is localhost.
Host FiletextDisplays the details of host file used.
Use IPv6check boxIf checked uses IPv6.
DNS DomaintextDefines the name of the network domain, or if not applicable, leave it blank.
IPv4 GatewayIP addressIPv4 Gateway is the IP address for the device that forwards packets to other networks or subnets. The controller only supports one gateway for all adapters. This includes the JACE-8000 WiFi Adapter in Client mode.
DNSv4 ServersIP addressDefines the IP addresses for any DNS servers. Separate each with a comma.
IPv6GatewayIP addressDefines the IPv6 address for the router that forwards packets to other IPv6 networks or subnets.
DNSv6 serverIP addressesDefines one or more DNSv6 server(s).
Interfacesdrop-down arrowDisplays the details of the interfaces.
