Add an SnmpNetwork
This procedure explains to add an SnmpNetwork component in the remote controller SNMP_AGENT station.
When you add an SnmpNetwork to a station, a Local Device (
) component comes with the SnmpNetwork component.
) component comes with the SnmpNetwork component.
Perform the following steps:
- Use the Palette side bar controls to find and add thenSnmp palette to the palette window.
- Copy-and-paste (or drag ) SnmpNetwork under the Drivers node in the station nav tree. The Name window appears.
- Type a name in the Name field (or accept the default name) and click OK to add the SnmpNetwork to the station.The SnmpNetwork appears in the Driver Manager view with the name that you assigned. The
Statusshould be{ok}andEnabledfield should betrue. The SnmpNetwork node should also appear under your Drivers node in the Nav side bar. - Save and restart the station. This is required to initiate network communications.
