This component is a folder organizes Lon objects when adding (learning) new Lon devices. This folder is also used under a
programmable Lon device, such as an XL15C.
To organize Lon objects, you copy this folder from the lonworks palette and place it under the device node in the Nav tree.

To access the Action menu, expand and right-clickLonObjectFolder and click Actions.
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Upload | Reads transient (nvs) and persistent (ncis and cps) data from the device and writes them to the station database (Lon device). An Upload window selects the type of data. |
| Download | Writes persistent data (ncis and cps) to the device from values in the station database (Lon device). A Download window selects recursive writes. |
