NOTE: In Niagara 4, reboot is available only for remote platforms. Reboot is always unavailable whenever you are connected to any Windows platform, either local or remote.

As shown above, a confirmation window opens, after which the daemon attempts to stop any running station before issuing the final reboot. A reboot restarts the QNX OS, Java VM, platform daemon, and finally the station (if it is configured to “Auto-restart”).

When the platform reboots, your Workbench platform connection to it is dropped. Depending on the platform type, it may take from several seconds to a couple of minutes before you can connect again.
