Replacing the Loading Splash Screen

A default splash animated .gif appears while Workbench is loading. You can remove or replace this .gif.

Prerequisites: You are working in Workbench. You have a file named loading-splash.gif with which to replace the default file. The replacement file must be named loading-splash.gif.

Expand My File System > Sys Home > etc in the Nav
To view the default .gif, double-click loading-splash.gif
The .gif appears in the Image Viewer.
To replace this .gif, first delete the existing loading-splash.gif file.
To configure Workbench with no loading splash screen, delete the .gif file.
To select the new .gif file, double-click on the etc folder in the Nav tree, right-click the Directory List table and select the Copy From option in the list.
A File Chooser window opens.
Locate the new .gif on your local drive, select it and click Open.
The new .gif replaces the default .gif.
